文件FAFSA

• Prior to being admitted to Georgetown College prospective students may complete a FAFSA(免费申请联邦学生援助) application.

• In order for a student to receive any form of federal financial aid (loan, grant, etc.) GC必须为该学生获得相应年度的FAFSA. In order to receive a student’s application, GC must be listed as a recipient. 在选择接收你申请的学校时，一定要包括GC. 我们联邦学校的校号是001964.

     1. The Teacher Scholarship Program provides financial aid to Kentucky students pursuing teacher certification at participating Kentucky colleges.
     2. 申请截止日期为5月1日^st.

  3. 肯塔基培训计划
     1. Traineeship Program funds are available to help defray part of the tuition costs for courses that lead to teacher certification in 特殊教育 or 幼儿教育.
     2. Deadlines vary based on the semester for which you apply but keep the following schedule:

• Once a student is registered for classes charges will be posted to the student’s account.
• When considering the amount of financial aid to request a student should consider the amount of tuition 和 费用.
  
  1. Fees that will need to be covered include loan origination 费用 和 technology 费用.

• You are required to submit an aid request for each semester in which you wish to receive financial aid.

• Once a student has been awarded financial aid it is necessary that the student accept his/her awards before they will be applied.
• An 电子邮件 will be sent to confirm that financial aid has been awarded with instructions to accept each award.

• In order to accept financial aid awards it is necessary to complete the following instructions:
  
  1. 登录 my.GeorgetownCollege 网站

  4. 点击 查看经济资助奖项.

• Any amount of financial aid that you request beyond your charges will be issued to you in the form of a refund 检查.
• Refunds are not sent out immediately following the start of classes but rather after the completion of a student census.
  
  1. For students enrolled in full-session courses (classes 15 weeks in length) the full amount of financial aid is disbursed at the start of the semester.
  2. 参加分阶段课程(第7班)的学生.5 weeks in length) only half of the total financial aid amount is disbursed at the beginning of the semester. The remaining half will be disbursed following the start of second session classes.
• You may arrange for your refund to be deposited directly into your 检查ing account. 否则, the student accounts office will mail the 检查 to the physical address they have on file for you. To make direct deposit arrangements please contact the student accounts office at 502-863-8700.
